2007 Season 1
Cam Ayres started his racing career in the spring of 2007. He started out in the Caged Rookie Purple division. Racing mainly at Wyalusing Valley Motorsports Park, he won his first race in July. After building some confidence, he branched out to other tracks. Racing at Selinsgrove Speedway, Penns Creek, and Greenwood Valley Action Track. Cam gained many friends and great racing experiences. At the end of his first season, Cam had racked up 6 feature wins. His primary track, Wyalusing Valley Motorsports Park, honored him at their annual banquet with the Rookie Purple "Rookie of the Year", Schell Hard Charger Award, Best Appearing Car Award and the Drew Chapman Award for Professionalism and Enthusiasm for the sport.
